I Am Human Too is an insightful, thought-provoking exploration through the lives of 14 homeless individuals, revealing their unexpected wisdom, while reshaping our perception of the meaning of life by way of the most overlooked group of people in society, the homeless community.

How the Book Started

​When Sarah was a senior in college her mother was diagnosed with a mental health condition. But what did it mean to be mentally ill? She wasn't sure. And nobody in her family would talk about it. Desperate to find answers, she began volunteering with the homeless community.  What was supposed to be 3 months, turned into 2 years of her life as she embarked on a journey that would changer her life forever.​​​​
